Vintage Mid century artisan sterling silver necklace. It has two strands of black freshwater pearls in 3.5 mm to 5.7mm diameters. The box pendant is set with 5 pearls that appear to be set with posts like a ring. This pendant is reversible and on the other side it is set with 5 small genuine blue sapphires. (tested with a gem tester)
This pendant has three bars inside from which it can hang from a chain or beads. It also has four corner bars that can be used as a bail. Can hang on the diagonal or straight.
Measures 1 1/4” square and 1/2” deep.
Toggle clasp is hand made and rectangular to match. It is marked 925 and S with a crown above it.
Double strand pearl necklace is 20” long. Weight: 56 grams.
